Terms of Use

Your use of www.bluetravelista.com or any other www.bluetravelista.com – affiliated sites is intended for personal, non commercial use and/or to make legitimate requests in order to book the products or services offered therein.
You agree not to use this Site to make any speculative, false or fraudulent reservation.
You hereby agree not to use robots, scrapers or any such automated means to access this Site, without prior written authorization by “Blue Travelista”.
You hereby represent and warrant that you
(a) have not previously had your access suspended by “Blue Travelista” or any other www.bluetravelista.com – affiliated sites or have otherwise been banned from using the Site;
(b) are not or do not represent a direct competitor of “Blue Travelista”. You may not access the Site for purposes of monitoring availability, performance or functionality, or for any other competitive purposes.
(c) do not have or operate more than one www.bluetravelista.com user account at any given time;
(d) that you are of legal age and have all the rights, full power and capacity to enter into these Terms of Use and, in doing so, will not violate/breach any other agreement to which you are a party.
We grant you permission to use the Site subject to the restrictions set forth in these Terms and Conditions. Your use of the Site is at your own responsibility, taking into account the risk that you may be exposed to linked content that is offensive, indecent, inaccurate, objectionable, or otherwise inappropriate. “Blue Travelista” does not endorse such content, and cannot vouch for its accuracy. You, therefore, access and use www.bluetravelista.com at your own initiative and your own responsibility.

Validity of Products and Services offered, Modifications and Amendments

All tours, special offers, products, and services offered by “Blue Travelista” are valid with regard to the dates displayed at www.bluetravelista.com. “Blue Travelista” may not be held responsible or liable for any information that is not directly provided by “Blue Travelista”.
Any requests for modifications/amendments must be directed to the “Blue Travelista” Customer Care Team who shall process any relevant request.
“Blue Travelista” shall not charge a fee for the amendment of the dates of an existing reservation.
“Blue Travelista” shall reserve the right to cancel, modify or substitute any service or tour that you have reserved via www.bluetravelista.com, at any time, at its sole discretion.
Under those circumstances, if the alternative option provided is not to your satisfaction, you shall be entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price.

Prices and Personal Expenses

“Blue Travelista” shall reserve the right to modify prices, at its discretion, without previous notice.
Prices include, only if mentioned, entrance fees for visits of museums and archaeological sites and meals (if/as specified in itineraries) and taxes.

All personal expenses; cost of drinks, after meal beverages, tips, sightseeing and services other than those specifically mentioned in our itineraries are not included. Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us and we would be happy to provide clarifications.

Payments and Cancellations

Payment for services and products of “Blue Travelista” can be made by all credit cards, unless otherwise stated. Full payment by credit or debit card is required in order to complete a reservation.
No charge or service fee shall be applied for processing credit or debit card payments.

No refunds are offered after the commencement of a tour or service, or in respect of any package tour, island package, accommodation, meals or any other services included in the product.

A reservation cancellation may result in corresponding cancellation fees being applied by “Blue Travelista”, as outlined below:

• Any tour package that includes hotel accommodation, ferry ticket and train ticket bookings is considered non-refundable

The “Blue Travelista” Cancellation Policy is applicable as stated on your booking voucher. Please find below the general cancellation rules that apply:

• Should a cancellation take place more than 30 days prior to the departure date of the cruise / date of service booked: full refund is offered
• Should a cancellation take place 30 – 16 days prior to the departure date of the cruise / date of service booked: 75% refund is offered
• Should a cancellation take place 15 – 8 days prior to the departure date of the cruise / date of service booked: 25% refund is offered
• Should a cancellation take place 7 – 0 days prior to the departure date of the cruise / date of service booked: no refund is offered
• Alteration of departure date within 48 hours prior to the original departure date of the tour / cruise: a service fee of 30.00 euro per person shall apply
• For special requests, the cancellation policy shall apply as stated via e-mail communication, per case

“Blue Travelista” reserves the right to cancel any cruise / tour / service at any time, at its discretion, ensuring that any fares/monies paid will be returned to the corresponding passengers. In the case where a cancellation (cruise / tour / service never starts) takes place due to extreme weather conditions, the amounts of fares paid shall be returned, in full, to all passengers concerned.
Under the aforementioned circumstances, “Blue Travelista” confirms that every effort shall be made to assist the passengers concerned with alternative arrangements.
“Blue Travelista” warns that the value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, foreign transaction, currency exchange charges or other fees by your bank/card company. Your bank or credit/debit card company/institution may charge fees upon conversion of the payment into local currency and, thus, result in a difference in the amount displayed on www.bluetravelista.com and the final amount charged to your bank account or credit/debit card statement.
Please contact your bank or card company/institution should you have any queries concerning any applicable conversion fees.

Upon cancellation of any booking you shall be notified via email, of the total cancellation fees.
Tickets are non-refundable in all circumstances.
All cancellations must be confirmed by “Blue Travelista”.

Children Discounts

1. A) on tours, children under the age of (4) four may participate free of charge. Children in the ages of (4) four to (12) twelve pay the relevant price displayed within every tour / cruise. Please do not hesitate to contact us for relevant queries.
   B) on all air and sea tours and cruises, discounts offered adhere to the policies implemented by the specific air carrier and / or cruise line used.

Accommodation

In our tours we make every effort to use 4*or 3* hotels, in accordance with the Greek Government classification standards.
All the selected hotels have private facilities. In the case of persons that require special access due to mobility issues, please inform us timely as many hotels in Greece may be traditional refurbished buildings without elevator access.
It is understood that overnight prices which are indicated for each tour are per person, sharing a double room.
There is a supplemental charge for sole occupancy, in the case where a single room is available, subject to the collaborating hotel vacancy at the time. The cost per person in the case of a triple room remains the same as the one for a double room.

Meals

The inclusion of meals is as specified in each tour. It is understood that half board includes a continental breakfast and one main meal per day (usually dinner) whereas full board consists of a continental breakfast and both lunch and dinner.

Transfers

Transfers are specified in each tour on www.bluetravelista.com and they include porterage of 2 medium sized suitcases per person.

Guides

As mentioned within the description of our tours, the guides employed are professional guides, officially licensed by the Greek Government. In the unlikely case of a force majeure (strikes, etc), we reserve the right to task our tour conductors instead of guides with relevant duties or to distribute literature with information pertinent to the locations visited during our tours.

Itineraries

As specifically mentioned in each tour. In case of a force mature and/or reasons beyond our control and events that occur after the tour departure, we reserve the right to modify the routing and alter the itineraries.

Our Liability

Please take the time to read this section carefully. This section limits the liability of “Blue Travelista” to you for issues that may arise in relation to your use of this Site, www.bluetravelista.com. If you do not fully comprehend the terms in this section or elsewhere in this agreement, please consult a lawyer for clarifications prior to accessing or using this Site.

While “Blue Travelista” makes every possible effort to present accurate and updated information on www.bluetravelista.com, to the extent permitted by law, the content published on this Site, including but not limited to information, software, products, and services, may include inaccuracies or errors, including reservation availability/vacancies and pricing errors. Www.bluetravelista.com or any www.bluetravelista.com – affiliated sites and corporate affiliates do not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim all liability for, any errors or other inaccuracies in relation to the information regarding and description of the products and services displayed on this Site (including but not limited to pricing, availability, photographs, inclusions and exclusions, general service/product descriptions, reviews and ratings, articles etc.). Moreover, “Blue Travelista” expressly reserves the explicit right to amend any availability and pricing errors on our Site and/or on pending bookings made under an incorrectly stated price.

Furthermore, the inclusion or offering of any products or services on this Site does not, in any way, constitute an endorsement or recommendation of such products or services by “Blue Travelista”. Although “Blue Travelista” makes every effort to keep the “Blue Travelista” site free from viruses, “Blue Travelista” disclaims all warranties and conditions that this Site, its servers or any email dispatch from “Blue Travelista”, are free of viruses or other harmful components. “Blue Travelista” hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions with regard to this information, content software, products, and services, including but not restricted to all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non infringement, to the extent permitted by law.

The third-party suppliers providing products or other services on this Site are independent contractors and not agents or employees of the “Blue Travelista”. “Blue Travelista” shall not be liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, negligence or misconduct of any such suppliers. Furthermore, “Blue Travelista” is not liable for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or material expenses resulting from or otherwise arising from a reservation of a product or service or your use of a product or service. “Blue Travelista” shall accept no responsibility or liability and will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or other causes which are beyond its direct control, and it will accept no responsibility for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any Government Service or Government Authority.

Under no circumstances, shall “Blue Travelista” (or its officers, directors or affiliates) be held liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, the loss of data or information or any costs for the procurement of substitute goods or services) arising out of, or in any way connected with, product or service reservations made by you through this Site or your access to, display of or use of this Site, or with the delay or your inability to access, display or use this Site (including, but not limited to, your dependence upon reviews and opinions appearing on this Site; any computer viruses, information, software, linked sites, products, and services obtained through this Site; or otherwise arising out of the access to, display of or use of this Site) whether based on a theory of negligence, contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, and even in the case where “Blue Travelista” has been advised of the potential of such damages.

If despite the aforementioned limitations, “Blue Travelista” is found liable for any loss or damage that arises out of or is in any way connected with your use of our Site or your reservation or occurrences which result from said reservation or your use of products or services made available through www.bluetravelista.com, then the “Blue Travelista” liabilities shall in no event exceed, in the aggregate, the greater of (a) the transaction fees paid to “Blue Travelista” for the transaction(s) effected on this Site giving rise to the claim in question, or (b) the total amount of one-hundred euros (EUR100.00).

Each Party concerned agrees that the penalty fees charged under these Terms and the limitation of liability reflect the allocation of risk between the parties. The limitations which are specified in this section will survive and apply even if any limited remedy specified in these terms is found to have failed with regard to its essential purpose. The limitations of liability provided in these terms shall be binding upon you and us and inure to the benefit of “Blue Travelista”.

Disclaimers and limitations of liability

Under no circumstances shall “Blue Travelista” be found liable for any of the following losses or damage (whether such losses were considered to be foreseen, foreseeable within the contemplation of the parties, known or otherwise):(a) loss of revenue or anticipated profits; (b) loss of data; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of opportunity; (e) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (f) losses suffered by third parties; or (g) any indirect, consequential, special, incidental or exemplary damages that arise from or relate to the use of www.bluetravelista.com regardless of the form of action.
Within the scope of making arrangements concerning hotel accommodation, tours, transportation services or any other service in connection with the itineraries of individual customers, “Blue Travelista” shall not be held liable for injury, damage, loss, loss of data, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to a person or property due to an act of default by any related hotel, carrier or other company or person providing services which are included in the relevant tours.
Moreover, “Blue Travelista” shall accept no responsibility for any illness, unwellness, thievery, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government restraints, acts of war and / or terrorism, weather conditions, fault in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes which are beyond its control.
The content of www.bluetravelista.com – including information, names, imagery, pictures, logos, prices, calendar dates, and availability regarding or relating to “Blue Travelista”– is provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis without any representations or any kind of warranty made (whether express or implied by law) to the extent permitted by law, including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.
At “Blue Travelista”, we hereby guarantee that we check and re-check all the details about all the products and services we offer with the aim of always providing you with true and accurate information. However, “Blue Travelista” does not warrant that functionality, content or information contained on www.bluetravelista.com will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or the servers that render it available will remain free of viruses or bugs.
If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

Lost items

Items such as small articles, coats, hats, wraps, umbrellas, cameras, hand bags/purses and any other items that are carried on a motor coach / cruise ship or any other means included in our services/products are entirely under the care and responsibility of the passenger who is strongly cautioned of the risk attached to such items being left in conveyances.
Every reasonable effort shall be made to retrieve lost or forgotten items; however, “Blue Travelista” and its agents and affiliates shall in no way be held responsible if such items are not retrieved.

Responsibility

“Blue Travelista”, including its employees, shareholders, officers, directors, successors, agents and assignees (collectively “Blue Travelista”), acts as an agent for the owners / contractors / independent suppliers which provide the relevant means of transportation, hotel and other lodging accommodations, restaurant or other services, and all terms and conditions under which the means of transportation or other services are offered or provided, and the issuance and acceptance of relevant tickets shall be deemed to be consent to the further condition that “Blue Travelista” and its agents shall not be or become liable or responsible in any way in connection with such means of transportation or other services concerning any loss, injury or damage to or in respect of any person or property regardless of how it is caused or arising, or to be otherwise liable for any damages for any other cause whatsoever.
Cruise ship / or ship lines or airlines or train / railroad companies may not be held liable for any act, omission or event which takes place while the passengers are not aboard the aircraft or ship or train.

In the case of air, ship, train or other forms of transportation, the passenger ticket in use by the provider of such transportation, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the passenger and such airline, ship line, or railroad company or other company.

Regarding the Athens Pick-up Service

In Athens, the pick-up service from most hotels is effected via the employment of motor coaches. Passengers are under obligation to advise “Blue Travelista” of their request to be picked up from their respective hotels either at the time of making the reservation or at a minimum of 24 hours prior to their tour departure.

Regarding Insurance

Insurance against injury while on motor coaches, trains or ships is provided by the owner companies. Should you wish to insure your baggage or seek any other kind of insurance, please make individual arrangements at your own accord.

Regarding Luggage

It is strongly recommended that tour participants take with them only one suitcase if possible. All Athens hotels provide services for safekeeping extra pieces of luggage for their clients.

Regarding Clothing

Clothing during the tour is casual and for many tours which involve walking or hiking, as you will see on the descriptions provided on the Site, comfortable footwear is also advised.
Please take into consideration, as also mentioned on the Site, that admission to monasteries and churches often restricts shorts, shorts skirts and exposed shoulders. Please feel free to ask us if uncertain of appropriate clothing for tours in relevant locales.

Request for Extension of Stay

Upon prior notification to “Blue Travelista”, our passengers enjoy the option of extending their stay at the majority of locations visited on our tours. On tours where transportation is effected via motor coach, passengers shall incur the expenses relating to their additional hotel accommodation. Extension requests regarding cruise and sea tours are also subject to the regulations set forth by the shipping companies concerned.

Content

The User may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, user accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Site through hacking, password mining or any other means. The User may not attempt to use the Site or any site content to transmit any computer viruses, worms, trojan horses or other items of a destructive nature (collectively, “viruses”). The User may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Site. The User may not use any device, software or routine that interferes with the proper operation of the Site, or otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper function of the Site. The User may not make excessive traffic demands. The User may not use the Site to violate the security of any computer network or crack any security encryption codes. The User may not disrupt or interfere with the security of, or otherwise cause harm to, the Site or site content. The User may not attempt to use the Site or site content for any use other than the business purpose for which they were intended. The User may not remove, circumvent, disable, damage or otherwise interfere with any security- related features of the Site, features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of site content, or features that enforce limitations on the use of the Site.

Account Termination or Suspension

Your account for accessing and using or your ability to use www.bluetravelista.com or any other www.bluetravelista.com – affiliated sites may be terminated or suspended, in whole or in part, at the sole discretion of “Blue Travelista”, for any or no reason provided, and without prior notice or incurred liability of any kind.
